Mansoura Collegiate Programming Contest. It is the competition of ICPC, an international organization dedicated to annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world. The qualifiers take place at the university level, then the teams qualify to compete at the level of Egyptian universities in Alexandria.

Capture-the-Flag events are computer security competitions. Participants compete in security-themed challenges for the purpose of obtaining the highest score. Competitors are expected to “capture flags” to increase their score, hence the name of the event. Flags are usually random strings embedded in the challenges.
