CIS is a non-profit scientific organization, which is based on volunteer work to provide knowledge to all computer science students in both tracks: technical and educational.

Our Achievements
MansouraCPC 2019 Competition
Mansoura Collegiate Programming Contest. It is the competition of ICPC, an international organization dedicated to annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world. The qualifiers take place at the university level, then the teams qualify to compete at the level of Egyptian universities in Alexandria. IBM Digital - Nation Competition
The competition is targeting undergrads and fresh grads 18 - 30 years old and it is addressing critical environmental issues in Egypt such as air pollution, water pollution etc. Innovative ideas and solutions on how to deal with them using key emerging technologies leveraging the IBM latest online training platform Digital - Nation Africa. Mansoura University Cybersecurity CTF 2019 Competition
Capture-the-Flag events are computer security competitions. Participants compete in security-themed challenges for the purpose of obtaining the highest score. Competitors are expected to “capture flags” to increase their score, hence the name of the event. Flags are usually random strings embedded in the challenges. IT Developers Forum
An annual event where college students meet with companies working in the IT field. The forum includes many seminars and competitions for graduation projects submitted by college students. Egyptian Science Week
A national event that aims to raise awareness of science, technology and innovation for all segments of society, and is held in March of each year to coincide with British Science Week. An annual trip to EED - Egyptian Engineering Day. Egyptian Engineering Day is a shared hub to exchange best-practices and induce new ideas that promote the engineering science and profession in Egypt
Orphan's Day
An annual charity event to celebrate Orphan's Day in cooperation with Life Makers and Hawar Sports Club.
